JEWS TODAY

Missing out?

Seeing present-day signs for which they themselves are responsible, but missing their meaning and eloquence, and, in consequence, perhaps enormous blessings foretold for Jews.

The city of Jerusalem is freed from the rule of Gentiles, June 5-10, 1967, during the astounding Six Day War, nine years after the highly improbable founding of the State of Israel in 1948. Fifty years later, in 2017, the United States of América recognizes Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

1,989 years ago (counting back from the year 2019), a Jewish prophet explicitly foretold this sign when he said: “Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.”

The times of the Gentiles' dominance over Jerusalem came to an end June 5-10, 1967, unexpectedly and stupendously validating the prophecy proclaimed 1,937 years before its fulfillment.

Mere coincidence? Tell us what is merely coincidental about so many other past prophecies given to Israel as much as 3,500 years ago, or more, and fulfilled? Is it necessary for all Gentile nations to prostrate themselves before Israel to get the attention of Jews today? By the way, there is no prophecy about that happening.

Jews of modern times are specifically and personally responsible for the fulfillment of the prophecy fulfilled in 1967, and, consequently, for the appearing of this sign visible to the whole wide world. A sign for Jews and Gentiles alike. A good many Gentiles see it, but do not really understand its significance. How many Jews see it and interpret it correctly?

I asked a Jewish physician, also highly educated in Jewish history and religious teachings, if he knew where that prophecy was found and who was its author. He knew neither. It is found in the extensive biography, written by a Jewish physician named Luke, of the Jewish prophet Jesus of Nazareth, in chapter 21, verse 24, and the author is that prophet. It is of some importance to note that the physician Luke independently researched his biography of the Nazareth prophet.

Rare is the Jew today who would read that biography. So, it came to pass that a Gentile, namely, me, had to inform a friendly and communicative Jewish physician, and teacher of Jews, where the prophecy is found. He started that discussion by asking me a question on the laws given to Moses that I could not answer instantly. Saying that he had to hurry, he answered it himself. Then, I politely asked him if I could ask him, in turn, a question. Mine was about the prophecy of Jerusalem being freed from Gentile rule when the times of the Gentiles would end. In my book, the fulfillment of that prophecy after 1,937 years goes a very long way in validating the legitimacy of the prophet who pronounced it, and it seems to me that intelligent, objective Jews today should come to the same conclusion.

Jews today who have given up on their God and the appearing of a promised Messiah have turned to secularism, materialism, humanism, hedonism or pure atheism.

Jews today who have not given up on God and his promise are so blinded by the offensive crucifix of Roman Catholicism that most of them seem absolutely unwilling to take a serious look at the Jewish prophet of Nazareth.

To them, Roman Catholicism IS the religion of that prophet.

Nothing could be farther from the truth!

As the renowned Roman Catholic historian Hans Küng wrote in his book “The Church,” paraphrasing: Jesus of Nazareth would be a total stranger if he were to walk into a Roman Catholic cathedral, for Catholics would not recognize him, nor would he recognize them as his followers. They do not practice his teachings, do not have his attributes, especially the hierarchy, nor have his spirit of decent, common civil respect for people opposed to him.

Their earthly kingdom headquartered in the Vatican, with its worldly, political alliances under a deceptive umbrella of religiosity-spirituality, is not his kingdom, which, as he frankly told the Roman Proconsul Pontius Pilate, “is not of this world… is not from here.”

Their historically verifiable material-religious-spiritual-cultural-racial persecution of the Jews is a repugnant reality diametrically contrary to the nature, conduct and teachings of the Jewish prophet Jesus of Nazareth.

Jews today are honor-bound before God to see it, learn it and rid themselves of false knowledge about the prophet of Nazareth. So outstanding and admired for your diligent pursuit of earthly sciences and worldly knowledge in general, how can you logically allow yourselves to be blinded by false religious knowledge rampant on the face of planet Earth, false Christianity, ridiculously attired priests proudly and authoritatively parading themselves as the only true representatives of the Nazareth prophet, etcetera.

Jews today have the solemn duty of searching past that apostate Christianity for the real prophet of Nazareth in his authentic surroundings. He is the author of the prophecy fulfilled in Jerusalem, June 5-10, 1967, and not the false “Jesus” of the persecuting crucifix, of the bloody crusades, of the blasphemous “Holy Wars” and the evil, depraved, terrifying “Holy Inquisition.” He has credentials that every Jew today would do well to examine closely and objectively. This is the respectful view of a Gentile who has studied those credentials for a long time and found them highly convincing.

Beginning about 1,990 years ago to about 1,690 years ago, that is, for a period of some 300 years, hundreds of thousands of Jews, also found them fully convincing. From many tens of thousands in Jerusalem, including large numbers of priests, to multitudes throughout the rest of Israel and all over the vast Roman Empire, including rabbis of synagogues. Convincing to the point they concluded that the many prophecies on the Messiah and his kingdom in the writings of Moses, David, Isaiah, Jeremiah and Daniel were fulfilled in the Nazareth prophet Jesus.

But, during those same 300 years, the rest of the Jews were so wrought up in their conflicting interpretations of the Torah and the Talmud, in their sectarian wrangling and their political agendas that they brought upon themselves two catastrophic disasters: The First Jewish-Roman War of 67 – 73, with a million Jewish dead in Jerusalem alone. And, about 60 years later, the Second Jewish-Roman War of 132 – 136, of this Common Era. During those years, self-proclaimed “Messiahs” rose up and vanished, including Simon Bar Kokhba, of the Second Jewish-Roman War, which cost the lives of some 580,000 Jewish combatants, and multitudes more from famine and disease. Bar Kokhba means Son of the Star. Many held him to be the Messiah. Fallen star; false messiah. That guerilla-type war also cost the Romans dearly, and their vengeance on the defeated Jews was devastating. They were vanquished from Judea. Great numbers of the earthly children of Abraham were persecuted, sold into slavery and scattered among the nations. Jerusalem was renamed Aelia Capitolina and rebuilt as a Roman town. Jews were prohibited from entering on pain of death, except for one day each year, for the feast of Tisha B’Av.

However, to the astonishment of historians and other interested parties, like me, who know something of their history, they have survived, as a people, as a race, nineteen long centuries of being mostly rejected by Gentiles: Aggressive racism, physical and religious persecution, torture, mass extradition, pogroms and genocide, the most recent horrendous attack to destroy them being the Holocaust, with 6,000,000 tortured, burned, gassed, starved or worked to death. The consensus of not a few historians is that, across so much time, they should have been consumed by the frequent violent forces rising against them, the racial genes of any remnant assimilated by other races. But, here they are in the 21st Century (February, 2018), about 15 million strong (14,410,700 in 2016), 8,399,000 (As of January, 2018) of them in the Promised Land again, fully in control, with all of Jerusalem in their power, no longer trodden under foot by Gentiles. “A miracle!” Thus, exclaim many. “A sign!” Yes, I agree, a sign, but of what, and who understands it?

Another Jewish prophet of nineteen hundred years ago, foreseeing the masive banishment of the Jews, which would take place after the Second Jewish-Roman War, represented them as a “woman” who “was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent,” who is, of course, Satan. He tried to drown her, that is, finish her off with a “flood” of persecutions, privations, exiles, pogroms and ethnic cleansings. But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the flood…” What is this but a prophecy of God’s providential safeguarding of the Jewish people from the time of their banishment after the Second Jewish-Roman War, all through the Dark Ages, the Renascence and modern times, to recent years when they have emerged from the “times of the Gentiles,” and stand before almost the whole world as a legitimate people within their own rights?

Why would God so providentially and powerfully safeguard the Jewish people?

Another Jewish prophet of those times nineteen hundred years ago said this of them: “…but concerning the election they are beloved for the sake of the fathers. For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.”

He also explained that “blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written.” Now the “all” is certainly rhetorical, for the same prophet clarifies: “And they also, if they do not continue in unbelief, will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again.”

Why the divine, providential safeguarding?

Because God loves the Jewish people, as he loves all peoples of the Earth, desiring to save all of them.

Because, due to his election of them as the people through whom the Messiah would come, they have a special place in his plan for humanity as a whole.

Because when “the fullness of the Gentiles has come in,” he expects them to see that sign, believe, understand and “be grafted in… again.”

It is even prophesied that, as time unravels from the present (February, 2019) toward its end, 144,000 of the twelve tribes of Israel will be “be grafted in… again,” the number being symbolical of the Jews who, seeing that sign and related ones, will understand, believe and act in accordance with the will of God, not only for the Jews but all humanity. In that prophecy, the symbolism is not of being “grafted in… again”, but of being “sealed.” And the symbolical 144,000 are the “first fruits,” implying a larger number of Jews to be “sealed” for life eternal.

Neither Jews nor Gentiles should miss the sign of Jerusalem’s complete liberation from Gentile rule in June, 1967. Both Gentiles and Jews should also see that Gentiles of today are turning away from God in vast numbers, becoming more and more secular, materialistic, hedonistic, vice-driven, egocentric, sex-mad, depraved and unnatural in their conduct. This is especially true of younger generations. The sign of the “fullness of the Gentiles” having already “come in” is taking place before our eyes. ¿How could we miss it? The informed see, and understand.

JEWS TODAY should not MISS THESE SIGNS. They validate those who announced them more than nineteen hundred years ago as genuine prophets of God. A Jewish prophet by the name of John, of Galilee, received the vision of the “woman” who represents the Jewish people providentially safeguarded by God during nineteen centuries (Revelation 12:13-17). He is also the one who received the vision of the 144,000 Jews sealed for eternal salvation (Revelation 7:1-8; 14:1-5).

The author of those profound explanations about why God loves and providentially protects the Jewish people was a highly educated Jewish leader, Pharisee of Pharisees in his time, from a rich family, Roman citizen by birth, by the name of Saul of Tarsus, later known as Paul. (Romans 11:28, 25 and 22, in that order.)

Prophets whose credentials have been stamped as genuine by the fulfillment of what they prophesied, these Jewish men believed absolutely that the Nazareth prophet Jesus was, indeed, the Messiah. How could they be mistaken, given that they themselves were genuine prophets of God?

Respected Jews today -men, women and young people- you who are quick to understand and reason, please consider reasonably and dispassionately these realities.

As the “fullness of the Gentiles” passes, it is TIME for the “fullness of the Jews” to begin. This is your time! Please, don’t miss out on it!

Time for you to recognize Jesus of Nazareth as the Messiah.

Time for you to look past all so-called “Christian” religions and churches of today, back 2,000 years, and keep looking and investigating until you can clearly see the spiritual kingdom “not of this world… not from here,” in its original purity, just as presented by its founder, Jesus of Nazareth. Of him the Roman Proconsul Pontius Pilate said: “I find no fault in him.”(John 18:33-38) What about that witness from a Roman ruler?

Time to be born of the water and of the Spirit, conditions necessary to see that kingdom and be admitted. A Pharisee, ruler of the Jews, Nicodemus by name, going to Jesus at night so as not to be seen by other Jews, heard about that kingdom and those terms, and was perplexed by what he heard (John 3:1-12). But, he understood enough and was convinced enough that, shortly thereafter, he defended Jesus before other rulers of the Jews, asking: “Does our law judge a man before it hears him and knows what he is doing?” (John 7:45-52)

Dear Jews today, have you really heard out the Nazareth prophet Jesus and sincerely tried to understand him before judging and summarily rejecting him? Do you really know what he did and is doing, or are you looking at him through the distorting prism of false Christianity? Time to hear and see him without prejudices and preconceptions; to really hear and see him through the original biographies of his life and work written by JEWS who knew him intimately, personally:

The tax collector Matthew, John Mark, of the family of Mary, who had a house in Jerusalem, Doctor Luke and John, the son of Zebedee. Jewish men who were so convinced he was the Messiah that they were willing to be martyred for their convictions.

When the prophet of Nazareth was crucified, “Nicodemus… came, bringing a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about a hundred pounds.” Not even the vileness of such an unjust, cruel and shameful death made the Jewish ruler Nicodemus leave the scene. He was there, in real time, and he honored the prophet Jesus in his death (John 19:39). Together with Joseph of Arimathea, “a rich man… who himself had also become a disciple of Jesus” (Matthew 27:57), “but secretly for fear of the Jews” (John 19:38), “a prominent council member, who was himself waiting for the kingdom of God.” Joseph, “coming and taking courage, went in to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus.” Pilate “granted the body to Joseph. Then he brought fine linen, took Him down, and wrapped Him in the linen. And he laid Him in a tomb which had been hewn out of the rock, and rolled a stone against the door of the tomb” (Mark 15:43-46).

Dear Jews today, TIME to take “COURAGE”, like the prominent council member Joseph of Arimathea, and ask for Jesus. Not for his body, of course, for he was resurrected from the dead, being seen by more than 500 witnesses, many of whom were still alive when the Pharisee of Pharisees, Paul, invoked their testimony (1 Corinthians 15:3-8). Rather, ask to know his teachings and works. Go to him through his exciting, fascinating biographies, and learn of his good and positive will for you, the Jews today. Take “COURAGE,” and go by night if you must, secretly so as not to be seen by fellow Jews, until you are fully satisfied that the Nazareth prophet is truly the Messiah. And, once you are convinced, go by day, as did Joseph of Arimathea, identifying yourself publicly with him. If you, esteemed reader, miss the opportunity open before you now, it may be your very last to be “sealed” as a true servant of the most high God.

Immersion in water, synonymous with baptism in water, is what is meant by “born of the water,” and immersion in the teachings of Jesus of Nazareth transmitted to the world by the Holy Spirit is the significance of “born… of the Spirit.” These are the conditions stated by Jesus to Nicodemus that night for seeing the spiritual kingdom of God, and being admitted to its sacred spiritual precincts. They remain the same to this day. That is the way you can get in, beloved Jews today. It’s the same way the Gentiles get in, and within there is no longer Jew nor Gentile, male nor female, bond nor free, for, within, all are one with God, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit and the angels of God, as well as with all the good, just and obedient of all times and places.

TIME, now, to ACT!

An aerial view of the Temple Mount, the Dome of the Rock and surrounding areas of Jerusalem illustrates the subject Jews Today: Missing Out?, in editoriallapaz.org.

Do you intend to trust in the continued existence of your earthly State of Israel as if it would exist forever, and do you think to rebuild the temple in Jerusalem, set in action the Levitical priesthood and offer bloody sacrifices as per the laws given on Mount Sinai? Shall your glory continue to be in the earthly?

Frankly, your renowned prophets of old never foresaw such outcomes for you. They prophesied a spiritual kingdom and spiritual Messiah-King over it. Many of your forefathers understood that and recognized the spiritual Messiah-King when he came. Most did not because they were anticipating a mostly earth-bound Messiah-King who would liberate them from earthly oppressors. They, thereby, brought upon themselves, and your race as a whole, really dreadful consequences.

Through the centuries, the Gentiles who have wanted to know the only true and living God have been tremendously benefited by the Jews who know him, and shared their knowledge.

In the name of that only true and living God, let us Gentiles of today be a blessing to you, the Jews of today, by kindly pointing out the signs you yourselves are bringing about in part, their meaning and place in God’s plan for all humanity and the trajectory this world is taking as it moves inexorably toward the end of time.

With love and respect for you,
